The HC Junior Fair Rabbit Department is once again holding a Rabbit Fun Show. This is a great event in which youth can learn more about rabbits. Participation in this event counts as Quality Assurance education.

HC 4-H King & Queen AND Horse Royalty Interviews
Candidates for HC 4-H royalty and 4-H Horse Royalty should mark this date on their calendars. Individual interview times will be assigned with notification by mail. Horse royalty candidates are reminded that you will take a test prior to interviews and will therefore need to come at 6:00pm

HC Feeder Calf ID/Weigh-In
HC Fairgrounds~Beef Barn, Napoleon
*4-H and FFA youth who are enrolled in Beef Feeder or Dairy Beef Feeder projects and wish to exhibit their project animal/s must participate in this ID/Weigh-In event. Animals weighing over 400 lbs. will be eligible for fair exhibition for a letter grade only.

HC Rabbit ID Day
All 4-H and FFA youth who are taking rabbit projects and wish to exhibit their project animal/s must participate in the appropriate ID event. This date: Breeding rabbit project animals & Doe (of Doe & Litter exhibits). Tattooing and Tattoo verification will be done on this date.

HC Market Goat & Sheep Tagging
HC Fairgrounds~Sheep/Goat Barn, Napoleon
4-H and FFA members enrolled in a Market Lamb OR Market Goat project and wish to exhibit their project animal/s must participate in this ID event. REMINDER... All goats and sheep MUST have a USDA SCRAPIE ID tag already applied (this should be applied by owner of the farm from which you purchased your animal/s OR you if you have raised the animal/s. Alternate project judging is offered to those who have a conflict with the project dates in July only. It is the member's responsibility to report the conflict to Laura and be scheduled into the Alternate 4-H Project Judging schedule.
