*ORGANIZATIONAL ADVISOR OPEN HOUSE~ Sunday January 29, 2012 2:00pm at the OSU Extension~Henry County Office (#302- 3rd Floor Hahn Center). This Open House is designed for our club Organizational Advisors ONLY (or a designated advisor) to attend. At this event, the Organizational Advisor will receive HENRY COUNTY updates, information about the club management specific to Henry County, and materials to provide the updates to the other club volunteers. They will also be able to pick up their club starter packet, share in a round table discussion and walk away feeling more confident in getting the year started off effectively and efficiently with other volunteers and club members.

*VOLUNTEER (ADVISOR) EDUCATION/TRAINING~ This is MANDATORY for Henry County 4-H volunteers. Our volunteers have the opportunity to select one of two sites to attend their training within the Maumee Valley EERA. Each volunteer will select the break out sessions of their choice and those most relevant to their volunteer efforts. Choose from...

OPTION #2~ Volunteer Training March 20th at St. John's Lutheran Church, Corner of SR 6 & 66 just south of Four County Career Center, Archold OH 6:30-8:30pm

           Club Financial Management
           New Advisor Training
           Specialized Clubs
           Effective Meetings/Weaknesses & Pitfalls
           Identifying Kids' Gifts
           Recruiting & Retaining Youth & Advisors

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITY ON March 22 5-7pm at the OSU Extension~Henry County office: "Managing Risks: Selling & Serving Food"- open to all 4-H club volunteers and other organization leaders who might be selling and serving food at various functions.

COMPLETED>>> CLOVERBUD ADVISOR TRAINING~ Volunteers who specifically work with the Cloverbud Program must attend the Henry County training on Thursday March 1st 6:30pm at the OSU Extension~Henry County Office.
