Youth 14 years of age (and at least a Freshman) to 18 years of age who are 4-H club members have the opportunity to become camp counselors or CITs (Counselor In Training) for a variety of camps in 2012. The fun begins in October of 2011!

Any teen who meets the age criteria MUST attend one of the two scheduled introduction meetings in order to apply for these exciting opportunities. Interested teens should pick from the following two dates and mark your calendars...

                                               Sunday October 30  3:30 p.m.

                                                           or

                                         Wednesday November 2nd 5:00 p.m.

Both meetings are scheduled to be held at the OSU Extension Henry County office. We are located on the 3rd floor of the Hahn Center.

Potential camp counselors are being sought for Henry County 4-H Camp, Henry County 4-H Cloverbud Camp and 4-H Horse Camp. Dates for these camps will be provided at the meeting you select to attend.

This year will bring about several changes in the counseling experience with a stepped up emphasis on work ethics and follow through for our young people. Applications will not be considered if the teen has not participated in one of the meetings listed above. The application process will be explained at the introduction meeting attended by the potential camp counselor/cit.
