The Henry County 4-H Advisory Council has a great opportunity for 4-H'ers and FFA members! If you are interested, are committed to,have never enrolled in a market lamb project and have access to a facility to raise a market lamb, you might want to consider writing an essay for the 2020 Essay Lamb Contest.
Market lambs will be will be awarded to individuals who are selected winners of this essay contest. Essays will be evaluated by a committee represented by Senior Fair Board, Junior Fair Board, 4-H and FFA. Deadline for submitting an essay is March 1st of the current year and should focus on why you would like to raise and exhibit a market lamb as part of the Henry County Junior Fair and two qualities you possess that would make you a winner of the contest. The number of lambs available is dependent on the number of sponsorships 4-H Advisory Council attains for the current year.
