The Henry county Solid Wast District will be hosting the 23rd Annual Liter Roundup during the month of April. This event is very important to the District and they are thankful for the continued support of the Henry County 4-H clubs. Approximately 100 miles were cleaned in 2019 through the efforts of the 4-H'ers.

Henry County has over 800 miles of reaodways that will need to be cleaned again this year. The District encourages any 4-H club to utilize this event as either a community service project or as a fundraiser. As a fundraiser, the group will be paired with a sponsor, who will pay the club $4.00 per bag of litter collected, up to a maximum of $100.00. A $20.00 recycling bonus will be awarded to the top 3 groups who properly separate and bag the following items: *Aluminum cans *Tin cans *Cardboard *Empty #1 or #2 plastic bottles.
