Quality Assurance education is an Ohio Department of Agriculture mandated (Ohio Revised Code) requirement in order for 4-H and FFA members to exhibit their livestock projects. The program teaches youth what is and how to use the best practices that support them in producing quality and safe animal products for consumers, as well as responsible animal handling, care and welfare of all animals. With the stay-at-home order and the no face-to-face 4-H programming being available at this time, there are alternatives to programming being organized weekly. Quality Assurance education is one training we want to keep moving ahead with as August will be here before we know it. We want our members to be prepared to exhibit their livestock as part of the Junior Fair assuming it takes place. With this in mind, below you will find the link to register for a Quality Assurance Education session that fits the members’ schedule.
